Vandzura , John T, 66, Portage . Passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2019. Born March 2, 1953, the son of Thomas J. and Julia (Prostejovsky) Vandzura. Preceded in death by his mom. Survived by his dad and sister, Theresa , wife of Vince Arena. John always had a great love for horses. He was a farrier for 45 years. John was a general “Mr. Fix It Guy” and would help anyone he could. He was a retired employee of Leman Machine Company. Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Portage. Funeral Mass 10 AM Friday St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael PA. Fr. Brian Warchola, celebrant. Committal St. Mary’s Cemetery, Portage. In lieu of flowers family ask contribution be made to Portage Vol. Fire Dept. or Portage Area Ambulance Ass’n.
