Obituary for Violet P. Plummer
Plummer, Violet P. (Wilson), 97, Sidman. Entered into new life March 6, 2019, at home. Born October 24, 1921 in South Fork the daughter of James and Mary (Mountain) Wilson. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry W. Plummer, son Harry, Jr., two grandsons and three great grandchildren. Survived by her children: Margaret Hokanson of Georgia; Charles (Carol) of Portage; Shirley Gall of Davidsville; Barbara Burkett of Sidman; Marlin (Rita) of Summerhill; John (Betsy) of Johnstown; Joanne (Stanton) Walls of Hollsopple; and Sam (Kathy) of Salix. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren and numerous great and great -great grandchildren. Violet and her husband owned and operated Hilltop Service Station. Friends received from 4-8 PM Sunday at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale where service will be held at 11 AM Monday, Rev. Thomas Moore officiating, Interment Dunlo United Methodist Cemetery.
