Obituary for David G. Bridge
Bridge, David G., 60, Beaverdale. Died December 7, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial MedicaL Center. Born June 20, 1961 in Johnstown the son of Michael and Marcella (Sigado) Bridge. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Dan and sister Julie, mother in law Maddie Makosky, and pets, Molly, Callie and Ruppy. Survived by his wife of 29 years the former Antoinette Makosky and children: Kaitlin (Chad) Smith of Altoona; Jordan of Beaverdale; and Kylie and friend Clay McVicker of Beaverdale; father in law John Makosky and brother in law John Makosky and Lori Adams of Beaverdale. Brother of Marcia (Phil) Cavalier; Christine Rose; Brian (Justine) Bridge; Elizabeth (Ronald) Vanduinen; Charles (Debbie) Bridge; and Michael (RaeAnn) Bridge. Also surviving are his faithful feline companions, Greta and Finley, and his “grand cats” Smokey, Bandit, Binx and Max. David was a 1980 graduate of Bishop Carroll High School. Was employed at Creative Pultrusions for 27 years. He served his community as a member of the Summerhill Twp. Vol. Fire Dept and QRS Team for 16 years . Member of the Cambria county Hazmat Team. He loved to be outdoors, hunt and cook on his grill. Was a Miami Dolphins fan and an animal lover, but above all he loved spending time with his family. Friends received Friday 3 pm until time of service 7 PM at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale. Due to the recent increase in Covid mask are requested. The family also understands if you are unable to attend the visitation and ask that you just think a happy thought of David. In lieu of flowers family request contribution be made to the Summerhill Twp. Vol. Fire Dept. or your local animal shelter.
