Ross, Gertrude H. (Adams), 86, Summerhill. Entered into new life March 11, 2021 at home. Born March 22, 1934 in Portage the daughter of Stanley and Mary (McGough) Adams. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 67 years Waide K. Ross, brothers: Bill, Bob, James, Paul, Tom, Major, and Stanley, sisters: Rosemarie Hurd, and Jean Bolvin. Survived by her children: Gerald “Butch” (Sandee), Woodstock, VA; Patsy (Daniel) Senft, Sidman; Denise (George) Davis, Vineland, NJ; Dan “Boone” (Marian), Carrolltown; Pamela (Doug) Brydon, Salix; Randy, Summerhill; Rana (Matt) Montague, Summerhill. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. Member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church. Private visitation and funeral service due to the Covid-19 restrictions A celebration of Gertie’s life will be held at a later date when it is safe for all to gather. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family ask contributions to the camp fund of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church. The Ross family is being served by the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Portage.
