Claycomb, Violet (Steen), 82, Hollsopple, PA, formerly of Beaverdale. Died September 22, 2024 at home. Born February 18, 1942 in Summerhill Twp., the daughter of Clifford and Helen (Baker) Steen. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred H. Claycomb, children: Nancy, Kathy Perich, Robert and John. Grandchildren: Tami Moore and Justin M. Claycomb, brothers: Bill Steen and Richard Steen and best friend and sister in law Josephine Steen. She is survived by her children Bob, (M.J.), Fred, Jr. and Helen Moore, grandchildren and great grandchildren and special caregiver and granddaughter Toni Mock. Violet was a quite gentle soul who never had a bad word to say about anyone. She would always greet you with a big smile and a hug, lend a helping hand. Violet left a loving impression on everyone she met. At her request there will be no viewing or visitation and a service will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to 365 Hospice for their compassionate and loving care, Mary Ann, Gloria and Billie we appreciate all you have done for our family.
