Obituary for Terry E. Ritchey
Terry E. Ritchey, 67, of Birmingham, AL, passed away peacefully at 5:00 AM on Sunday, October 10, 2021. Terry was born on August 7, 1954 in Johnstown, PA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Blair W. and Twila (Gray) Ritchey of Portage, PA. He is survived by his life partner Nadia Bajalieh of Birmingham, AL, sons Jeremiah Ritchey of Huntsville, AL, and Justin Ritchey (Angela), and grandson Sawyer Artem Ritchey of Cleveland, TN; brother Blair Alan Ritchey (Helen) of Allen, TX; sister Cynthia Ritchey Benarick (Paul) of Forest City, PA; and Nadia’s sons whom Terry considered his own: Jeff (Sally), Chris, and Jason (Bradley and Sol) of Birmingham, AL.
Terry spent much of his Alabama career in management, overseeing the mechanical maintenance division of US Pipe and later with CRM Pipe. Family and friends of Terry will remember him fondly for his love, kindness, and dedication to serving others.
A Memorial Service celebrating Terry’s life will be held at the Jean Kinley Funeral Home in Portage, PA, on Saturday, October 30, 11:00 AM, with graveside service to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Blue Knob, PA.
