Obituary for Nichole L. Ahlborn
AHLBORN, Nichole Lynn, 37, of Portage passed away suddenly in her home the morning of May 24, 2021. She was born on June 5, 1983, the daughter of the late Lori Lane (Plummer) and Gary Smay, and step father Ralph Lane. Nichole was a free spirit who marched to the beat of her own drum. She had a bold and vibrant personality, the life of the party that demanded the attention of everyone there. She was warm and compassionate, loving and kind. Nichole would do anything to help anyone, and had a knack for making everyone feel special. She was a wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, and the most amazing friend. Nichole loved her babies more than anything in the world. Her four boys were her life.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Ahlborn. Her children, Ian and Gabriel Butler, and Zack and Cody Ahlborn. Father Ralph Lane, Sisters Joleen (Mason) Ray and Arianna Leasure. Brothers Ryan Bickle, Bryan (Robin) Bickle, Michael Hribar, and Tristan Allisippi. Grandmother Myrtle Haines. Nieces and Nephews: Miley, Cash, Brylyn and Savanah. She also leaves behind many aunts and uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lori Lane, maternal grandfather Ronald Plummer, and cousins Danny Plummer, Travis Swinger, and Keith Swinger.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday May 29 at 1:00 pm for a viewing and 2:00 pm service at the Jean H Kinley Funeral Home, 614 Cambria Street, Portage PA 15946. In Lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the family.
