Obituary for Martin R. Block
Block, Martin R., 69, Beaverdale died July 12, 2021 at home. Born March 24, 1952 in Johnstown the son of the late Henry Sr. and Elizabeth (Ankney) Block. Preceded in death by his son Matthew, brothers; Charles, Henry, Jr., Myles and a sister Venetta. He is survived by his wife of 46 years the former Donna Civic of Beaverdale and daughter Diane wife of Thomas McFadden of West Virginia and a “special daughter” Andrea Corbett of Beaverdale. Brother of Clyde (Ruth), Joe (Donna), Kay Ohler, and Francis all of Llanfair. Martin is also survived by six godchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was an avid hunter. Friends received from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale where service will be held at 11 AM Thursday , the Rev. Ed Wagner officiating. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine Cemetery, Dunlo PA.
