98, Formerly of Beaverdale and Sidman, passed away on January 27, 2022 at Arbutus Park Manor. Daughter of the late Michael and Mary Sivik. Preceded in death by husband, William; son, Alick; and all her siblings and their spouses. Margaret is survived by her loving daughters, Sharon Daniels and Catherine Prudhoe and son-in-law, David Daniels. Sadly missed by granddaughters Sarah Drudy (Michael) and Katelyn Daniels (Tim Brean); great grandsons, Isaac and Owen Drudy; and many nieces and nephews. Margaret loved her family, her church, playing the slot machines, and baking. She was known far and wide for her nut, poppy seed and apricot rolls. Margaret was a lifelong parishioner at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Beaverdale. The family wishes to thank the Windber Hospice and Arbutus Park Manor nurses and staff for their care and support. Friends will be received from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Kinley Funeral Home, 630 Cedar St,, Beaverdale. A funeral liturgy will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Portage. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Portage, PA, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org).
