Obituary for Kim M. Cordwell
Cordwell, Kim M. 64, Portage. Entered into new life unexpectedly September 17, 2020 at home. Born May 25, 1956 in Johnstown the daughter of Leonard W. and S. Evelyn (Fresh) Cordwell. Preceded in death by her parents and sister Bonnie. She is survived by her brother Thomas R. married to the former Sharon Rush of Portage. Nephew Greg Cordwell and Niece Amanda Chappell, great nieces and nephews; Kirstin, Taylor, Lydia, Kesha, Johnny, Kenlee and Travis. Her special friend Cathy Czapp and her daughter and children, Katie Czapp, Jake, Hunter and Kyle. Kim retired as an aide at the Rebekah Manor of Ebensburg. Member of First Lutheran Church, Portage. Friends received Monday September 21, 2020 from 2-4 PM and 6 PM until time of service 7 PM at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Portage. Inurnment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at a later date. Due to Covid- 19 restrictions mask and social distancing are required at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to the Cambria County Humane Society.
