Obituary for Kay Jon Strayer
Strayer, Kay Jon, 81, Summerhill. Passed away May 1, 2019 at home, Born July 13, 1937 in Windber the son of Edwin T. and Zona P. (Reighard) Strayer. Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Kimberly and grandson Caleb. Survived by his children: Tamera, Jonathan, Dana, David,and Cynthia and by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters Jo (Al) Felix of Mentor, OH, and Penny Beddoe of Phoenixville. Retired from Bethlehem Steel where he worked as a welder and jig builder. He was and avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gardening and working in his orchard. Friends received from 2-4 pm Saturday May 4, 2019 at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, South Fork, PA.
