The Almighty One, through His Only-Begotten Son and our Savior Jesus, admitted His beautiful and charming child, Kathryn Mae (Brevko) Malley, into His House of Paradise, on December 8, 2022, where there is no pain, no sadness, no suffering, no loneliness, no hunger, no thirst, no feelings of uselessness, and no physical limitations; just pure joy. Born on June 24, 1946 in Braddock, PA, Princess Kathryn grew up in West Mifflin, PA. After graduation from West Mifflin High School, she earned her Cosmetological Instructor, and Operator’s Licenses, and practiced in Pittsburgh, PA. On May 24, 1968, she married Prince Michael, and the couple moved to Oxnard CA, before calling Somerset PA home in 1972. Princess Kathryn is predeceased by her parents John and Anna; sisters Nancy, Marian, and Mary. She is survived on earth by her loving husband Prince Michael, her five children-Michael II, Keith, Kristie, Mark, and Kenneth; her sister Jean Jugan and nieces and nephews. Princess Kathryn was a cherished and inspirational wife and mother. In addition to giving birth to and bringing up her five children to successful adulthood, she was an accomplished businesswoman. During her last days, she moved to a Personal Care Home in Sidman, PA. ”Earth losses a most gentle soul, and Heaven has gained a saint,” voiced her husband. Surely, all who knew her, will remember all of the fun times and fond memories they created together. Viewing will occur at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home in Portage PA on Sunday December 11, 2022 from 6-8 PM and burial will occur at the top of the hill, next to a space for her beloved husband’s future remains, at Pringle Hill Cemetery, Summerhill PA, following a Funeral Liturgy at Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Portage, PA on Monday December 12, 2022 at 11 AM. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer Disease Research Center. UPMC Montefiore, 4 th Floor, Suite W-421, 3459 Fifth Ave. Pittsburgh PA15213.
