Obituary for John F. Bitter
Bitter, John F. 67, St. Michael, PA died December 29, 2020 at the Transitional Care Unit of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born December 26, 1953 in Washington, DC , the son of John W. and Rhoda C. (Strayer) Bitter Preceded in death by his parents and son Jeremy. Survived by his stepson Bradley Bitter and grandchildren: Averianna; Cameron; Rylah; and Marlanah Bitter. John was a graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo Tech where he was a member of the wrestling team, he worked at CAMCO as an electronic technician . He was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints. John served his country as a member of the US Coast Guard. At his request there will be no viewing or visitation, inurnment will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery. A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date when family and friends are permitted to gather. The Bitter family is being served by Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale.
