Obituary for Elizabeth E. (Puchan) Zihalla
Zihalla, Elizabeth, E. (Puchan), 103, Beaverdale. Entered into new life November 27, 2019 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. She was born June 03, 1916 in Dunlo the daughter of George and Helen (Yuhas) Puchan. She is the last member of her immediate family that included her parents, husband Andrew E. and siblings; Anne Hornyak, Margaret Chuba, Michael Puchan, Helen Slifko, Mary Puchan, Marie Cuba, and George Puchan. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. No viewing or visitation , but friends are welcome at her memorial Mass which will be celebrated 10 AM on Saturday December 7, 2019 at St. Michael Catholic Church. Committal will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Beaverdale. A special thank you to her caregivers, Joseph Slifko, Sr. (deceased), Judy Slifko, and Joe Slifko, Jr., and to the staff of Arbutus Manor and The Villa for the compassionate care given to Betty. The family is being served by Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale.
