Miller, Edward L., Portage, PA. Died June 29, 2024, at home. Born May 15, 1935, in Summerhill Twp. PA the son of Sherman and Geraldine (McVicker) Miller. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Rob, Herman, Sherman, Vernon and Bonnie Klett. Survived by his wife of 66 years the former Patricia J. Donnelly and children: Barbara (Tom) Kalinoski of Sheffield Lake, OH; Lynn Stauski of St. Michael; Terry Miller of Portage; and Tim (Roxanne) Miller of Windber. Grandchildren: Rachael Howe, Joey Kalinoski, Brittany Shuler, Zack Stauski, and John Stauski . Also surviving are seven great grandchildren. Ed retired from Iron City Sash and door with 46 years of service. He was a proud Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion John R. Moyer Post, Portage. He loved working outdoors hunting and fishing and family gatherings. Friends received from 6-8 PM Tuesday July 2, 2024 at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Portage. Funeral Service 11 AM, Wednesday July 3, 2024 at the Hammer St. Church of God, Pastor Traci Bylstone officiating, Interment Prospect Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted at the Hammer St. Church immediately after the service.
