Obituary for Dorothy Ronan
Ronan, Dorothy, 95, formerly of Beaverdale. Entered into new life March 19, 2022 at Arbutus Park Manor. She was born in Beaverdale, July 22, 1926 the daughter of Joseph T. and Susan (Voytko) Dobis. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, daughter Susan Mullen, siblings Joseph Dobis and Elaine Skellan. Surviving are her children Robert Ronan of South Fork and Sharon wife of David Pruchnik of Windber. Grandchildren Megan Swaney and Erin Zix , great grandchild Kyla Zix. Sister of Catherine Shedlock of Cleveland, OH. Dorothy worked in a munitions factory during WWII and later as a seamstress in various sewing factories. She also worked in multiple area pharmacies and finished out her career in the bakery at Giant Eagle. Mom was a great cook and was known for her pagach, which she made with love for her family and many friends. As she always said, “Love you, love you, love you”. Private service. Committal will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Beaverdale. A special thank you to the caring staff at Arbutus Park Manor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Family Kitchens. The Ronan family is being served by the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale.
