Obituary for Donald Petkosh
Petkosh, Donald M., 86, Beaverdale. Died February 12, 2023 peacefully at home with his wife by his side. Born July 31, 1936 in Beaverdale the son of George and Anna (Fritz) Petkosh. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers George, Joseph, Raymond and a sister Claire Sinar. Survived by his wife of 56 years the former Patricia Krupa and daughter Linda Sotera of Pottstown. He was the Pappy of Nicholas and Brianna Sotera, and was so very proud of their accomplishments. Donald was the last member of his immediate family. He worked as a custodian at Forest Hills School District for 27 years. He served his country in the US Army. He was a member of the Beaverdale American Legion and the Brookside Sportsmen Club. He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, making people laugh, playing bingo, and visiting the Rivers Casino. Friends received from 5-8 PM Wednesday at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale where service will be held at 11 AM Thursday. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Beaverdale. In lieu of flowers family ask contributions be made to the Summerhill Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept.
