Helsel, Dolores (Cocho), 85. Portage. Died September25, 2022 at home. Born October 26, 1936 in Johnstown, the daughter of John and Ann (Reborchick) Cocho. Preceded in death by her parents, brother John Cocho and sister Liz Zamboni. Survived by her husband Elwood L. Helsel, son Shawn and fiancé Amy Uveges of Portage, daughters, Veronica (Rob) Malcotti of Nanty Glo, and Arlene Howard of Ebensburg, step daughter Gail Stancovich of Portage. Also surviving are two grandsons, one grand daughter , five great granddaughters and one great grandson, two step grandsons, three step great granddaughters, one step great grandson. Sister of Kay Bortnick, Lil Neal, Mary Glowa, Patricia Smartz and Michal Cocho. Dolores was a member of Holy Family Parish. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed her casino trips. No visitation or viewing and Funeral Mass will be private. Inurnment will be at St. Francis Xavier Mausoleum, Cresson at a later date. The Helsel family is being served by Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Portage.
