Obituary for Charles P. Brewer
Brewer, Charles P., 54 Ohio, formerly of Ehrenfeld died September 7, 2022. Born June 26, 1968 in Johnstown the son of the late Charles R. “Butch” and Arlene (Smith) Brewer. He is survived by his spouse Jon Bunner of Ohio. Jon and Charlie spent 16 years together. Brother of Kelly wife of Larry Penatzer of Summerhill and James Brewer of Ehrenfeld. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews: Matthew, Brandon and Jacob Penatzer, Mitchell, Morgan, and Madison Brewer as well as several aunts and uncles. Charlie was a 1986 graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo- Tech, attended Penn State, and was a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. While living in Pennsylvania he was employed as a funeral director and as a Paramedic with Forest Hills Ambulance Association. Charlie had a beautiful singing voice, and was an outgoing “people person”, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He and Jon shared their life with 5 canine companions: Angel, Juno, Mooshu, Frank and Archie. Due to the increase in Covid cases masks will preferred while in the funeral home. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM Monday, September 12, 2022 at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale. Inurnment at South Fork Cemetery will be private.
