Obituary for Anna D. Andrykovitch
Andrykovitch, Anna D. (Sabol), 93, Beaverdale. Died November 26, 2016 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born June 21, 1923 in Johnstown the daughter of the late George and Pauline (Popovnak) Sabol. Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Andrew Andrykovitch, brothers Joseph and Wilbert. Survived by children Andrew married to the former Marietta Walsh of Willowick, OH; Stephen married to the former Susan Johnson of Beaverdale; and Ronald of North Huntingdon, PA. Grandchildren: Douglas, Paula Bertone, Keith (Pam) Andrykovitch, Jennifer (Robert) Blanchetti, Stephanie Myers, Stephen (Jennifer) Andrykovitch, Jason (Michelle) Andrykovitch, Joshua (Susan) Andrykovitch, Ryan Andrykovitch and Ashley Andrykovitch, also twenty one great grandchildren. Sister of George (Irene) Sabol of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, and Margaret Hamady of Bridgeton, NJ. Also surviving are sisters in law: Julie Sabol; Millie Andrykovitch; and Marie Kesslak all of Johnstown. Anna was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Beaverdale. She served as the librarian for many years in Beaverdale. As the men marched off to serve during WWII Anna fulfilled her patriotic duty by working on the railroad as part of the war effort. Friends received from 4 until 8PM Tuesday at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale where Parastas will be sung at 5 PM. Funeral Liturgy 10:30 AM Wednesday at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Fr. James Spontak, celebrant. Committal church cemetery.
