Obituary for Ann Marie Swelfer
Swelfer, Ann Marie (Hribar), 84 Windber (Krayn). Entered into new life October 09, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Born December 23, 1935 in Krayn the daughter of Frank and Mary (Naglic) Hribar. Preceded in death by her parents. Survived by her husband of 53 years, Louis M. Swelfer and daughters; Mary Ann wife of Brian Strayer and Diane wife of Brian Weis all of South Fork. Grandchildren: Jessica (Joseph) Kostyk, Daniel (KaLene) Strayer, Jenna Weis and Jeremy Weis. Great grandchildren; Weston and Kyleigh Kostyk , and Rowan Strayer. Sister of Frank S. Hribar of Dunlo and Connie Link of Euclid, OH. Ann was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, SNPJ Lodge, Krayne Sportsmans Club and SIDVIHAR. She enjoyed baking, doing crossword puzzles, building jigsaw puzzles with Lou and watching the Pirates and Steelers. She loved spending time with her grand and great grandchildren. At Ann’s request there will be no viewing or visitation but all are welcome to attend her Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM Monday, October 12, 2020 at St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael, PA. Due to Covid -19 restrictions the Diocese requires mask and social distancing at Mass. Inurnment will be at Corpus Christi Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank Windber Hospice and Dr. Awan for the compassionate and loving care given to Ann and family.
