Alick A. Prudhoe, 70, of Sidman
Born November 9, 1946. Passed away October 1, 2017. Son of William A. and Magdaline Prudhoe. Preceded in death by father. Survived by loving mother; sadly missed by sisters Sharon Daniels wife of David; and Catherine Prudhoe; loving nieces Sarah married to Michael Drudy; and Katelyn Daniels; great nephew Isaac Drudy; best friend Joan Bright; and many cousins and friends.
A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Retired construction worker. Alick was a kind person always willing to help others however he could. He enjoyed skiing, traveling with Joan, playing pinochle with family and friends, and playing Texas Hold ‘em at the casinos.
A member of St. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Portage.
Friends received Thursday, October 5 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale, where Parastas will be sung at 3:30 p.m.. Panachieda 9:15 a.m. Friday followed by Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Portage. The Very Rev. James Spontak celebrant. Internment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beaverdale.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Church, Portage, Special Olympics, or the charity of your choice.
